FESTIVAL ETIQUETTE
  • NO alcohol, drugs, fireworks, video cameras, tape recorders or portable stereos are allowed. We check the content of all bags and coolers brought on to the site.

  • Respect volunteers & fellow festival attendees.

  • Children 12 & under MUST be accompanied by an adult (19+).

  • Crossing of railway tracks is only permitted at the Main Gate.

  • NO GLASS of any sort.

  • NO PETS whatsoever.

  • NO BICYCLES on festival grounds.

  • Blankets and short lawn chairs make up the front row seating Tall lawn chairs must be placed further back.

  • Respect the park and your non-smoking neighbours; smoke down wind, pinch and pocket cigarette butts, recycle and don’t litter.

  • Dancing is encouraged! Please be sure to do so safely in the designated area.


What to bring:

The “Live From the Rock” Folk Festival is located in Pull- a- Log Park on the scenic shores of Lake Superior. Bring a friend, a lawn chair (low ones are best), waterproof tarp, rain gear, warm clothes for the evening, a flashlight, bug spray, sunscreen, a hat, comfortable foot wear, reusable drinking cup and some cash to purchase crafts, CDs, festival souvenirs or some tasty treats from the food vendors.
