The 2009 Live from the Rock Folk Festival Slogan Contest

This August 7^th through 9^th will mark the 7^th annual Live from the Rock Folk Festival in beautiful Red Rock, Ontario. Once again, the time has arrived to choose a slogan for the festival and we need your help! You and a friend could win weekend passes for the 2009 festival and all you have to do is enter a creative and original slogan to express what you feel the festival represents.

The annual theme and logo design for the festival are also based on the winning slogan, so by entering the contest you get the chance to see your creativity put to work. In past years for example, winning slogans have included ‘A folk in the road worth taking,’ and last year’s ‘Folk Rendezvous.’

Contest entries may be submitted by email to Laura Foulds at LFTRslogans@gmail.com or by calling (705) 928-0706 if you do not have Internet access. Entries should include your name, phone number, mailing address and of course, your original slogan idea. For more information about the festival visit the Live from the Rock website at www.livefromtherock.com.

The contest begins February 9, 2009 and entries will be accepted until March 1, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. The winning slogan will be voted on by the Live from the Rock Board of Directors and the winning party will be contacted shortly afterwards.

So put on your thinking caps and spread the word, because you might just win two free passes for a weekend with good friends and great music.
